Cultural Identity

This research project was designed as a way for me to take a deeper look into my family’s heritage. I come from a long line of American farmers, my first ancestors migrating to the States in the late 1800s. After taking a look into the history of the land where my family originated, it is assumed they were fleeing the Prussian war when they decided to travel to the USA. Using my background in both 2D and 3D, this toy box of Prussian soldiers was created using digital design and mold casting techniques.
